Why Do Fools Fall in Love (1998)

Halle Berry, Vivica A. Fox, and Lela Rochon play the three widows of R&B legend Frankie Lymon in the musical drama Why Do Fools Fall in Love (1998). Having come to New York to sue former manager Morris Levy for royalties due their late husband’s estate, the three women—a former singer for The Platters, a petty thief, and a schoolteacher, respectively—form a bond as they begin to piece together Frankie’s short but eventful life.
