Water for Elephants (2011)

Running away to join the circus actually turns out to be a good idea in Water for Elephants (2011). Set in the 1930s, the story begins when Jacob (Robert Pattinson) is called out of a vet-school exam and told that his family has been killed in a car crash. Overwhelmed with despair, Jacob drops out of school and hops on the nearest freight train, which just happens to belong to the Benzini Brothers Circus. The owner, August (Christoph Waltz), doesn’t care if Jacob has a degree, and so he is soon working as the Benzini's resident veterinarian. Then Jacob falls in love with the beautiful circus performer Marlena (Reese Witherspoon), but there's one little problem- she's married to the boss. Reese wears a sexy, skimpy spangled outfit when she’s performing, but when it comes to nudity, Water for Elephants will leave your trunk dry and limp.
