War of Likes (2021)

The Mexican comedy War of Likes (2021) takes social media and those pesky influencers to task! Ludwika Paleta and Regina Blandón star as Cecy and Raquel, respectively, two best friends from high school who have fallen out of touch over the course of their adult lives. Cecy is an influencer whose life seems glamorous, at least based on what she shows other people on social media. Raquel, on the other hand, is a driven fashion designer who is looking to catch her first big break. When Raquel is tasked by her new boss with getting her social media accounts up to 10,000 followers, she turns to the only person she knows who can help, her old pal Cecy. While their reunion is a happy one at first, it soon turns into... you guessed it... an all out War of Likes as they unleash their more competitive natures and turn what was supposed to be a fun exercise into a competition to determine which of them is the better human being. The film takes that old idiom that war makes monsters of us all to some absurd lengths as these two ladies constantly up the ante and raise the stakes! Can they ever get back to being just friends? In terms of our likes, we're definitely big fans of both of these sexy ladies, though we wish at least one of them had gone nude! Both Ludwika Paleta and Regina Blandón give great cleavage in a scene where they're wearing bikinis, but that's as far as it goes unfortunately!
