This is Where I Leave You (2014)

When it rains, it pours in the R rated flick This is Where I Leave You (2014). Based on Jonathan Tropper’s same-named novel, the dramedy starts when Judd Altman (Jason Bateman) finds out his wife (Abigail Spencer) is cheating on him with his boss (Dax Shepard). If that’s not bad enough, Altman also receives the news that his father has passed away too. When he returns home for the funeral, the dude is reunited with his siblings — all of whom discover that their dad’s dying wish is for them to sit shiva for him. In other words, they’ll all have to live together for a week under the same roof. As expected, this opens up plenty of old wounds and leads the dysfunctional family to learn to heal while making audiences laugh and cry. The latter reaction will kick in once you realize some of the super hot women in the cast (Tina Fey, Kathryn Hahn, Connie Britton, and Rose Byrne) refuse to undress! The closest we get to seeing a bare chest are the prosthetic breasts on Judd’s mom (Jane Fonda). When we imagine plastic fantastics this isn’t what we had in mind! In fact, the movie’s only nudity comes early on from Ms. Spencer. At the five-minute mark, Judd’s wayward wife flashes her ass after she is caught cheating. It’s super brief but at least her cheeks are real! Had we known there’d be no more skin, we’d have left This is Where I Leave You after that scene.
