The Way He Looks (2014)

The coming-of-age drama The Way He Looks (2014) is based on the 2010 short film Eu Não Quero Voltar Sozinho. It stars Ghilherme Lobo as Leonardo, a blind high school student struggling with making his way through the world, trying to find his independence. His overprotective mother (Lucia Romano) isn’t helping to ease the situation, but his attentive best buddy, Giovana (Tess Amorim), is always by his side, helping him to get around, walking with him to-and-from school, even taking notes for him on a Braille typewriter. Their routine existence receives a jolt when Gabriel (Fabio Audi) joins their class and befriends Leonardo. While their friendship blooms, Giovana finds herself wondering if she could be romantic with Gabriel, inherently creating an odd love triangle where more than one person will get their feelings hurt. Sadly the only nudity in this flick is male nudity, but we do get some sexy looks at Tess Amorim in a bikini laying poolside twice in the film! It would take a truly blind man to miss such unrivaled beauty!
