Shades of Love: Sunset Court (1988)

A talented tennis pro finds an incentive to stay off the clay in the Canadian romantic drama Shades of Love: Sunset Court (1988). One of a series of sudsy melodramas produced in Canada and aired on the country’s Cinemax network, Sunset Court stars Elizabeth Bellm as Susie Majors, a leggy beauty who also happens to be a whiz with the racket. When an injury drives her into the office of a ruggedly handsome doctor (Ted Wass), Susie contemplates giving up her sport to pursue true love. Wass’s character can hope for nothing better––it doesn’t get much sexier than watching Bellm crawl out of her tennis whites.
