Mischa Taking It to the Streets
While wildly popular with TV viewers, the Law & Order franchise generally doesn't give skin fans much to ogle, even on the usually sex-centered Special Victims Unit offshoot. Sure, unbelievably sexy Mariska Hargitay has been with the show since its inception, but aside from the (very) occasional bra flash, she's usually swaddled in professional (and very concealing) suits.
But get ready for a new dose of heat on the NBC series thanks to nudity vet Mischa Barton, who will pop up as a hooker in an upcoming episode.
TV Guide Magazine reports:
“She’s gone on to do amazing work both on TV and on the stage,” says [SVU executive producer Neal] Baer, who thought casting Mischa as a hooker would surprise viewers.
The episode, set to air March 3 (after the Olympics conclude) will reveal that Mischa’s character is hiding a secret that will prove complicating for Mariska Hargitay’s Benson.Obviously the role won't require Mischa to full-on strip on screen, but we're hoping for a little sexy lingerie or some revealing work attire. Plus, maybe this role will give Mischa some ideas for future projects and we'll soon see Barton diddling for dollars on the big screen.
