Love is a Many Splendored Thing

The 1967 serialization of the 1955 movie, Love Is a Many Splendored Thing first involved Mia Elliot, a Korean immigrant who fell in love with Paul Bradley and Dr. Jim Abbott. Wow, she was making time with two guys? “Me so horny!” However, these interracial relationships stirred up trouble for everyone involved. As the series progressed, the plot moved away from Mia after she left town and focused on the long-suffering Laura Donnelly, a nun who eventually dropped the habit for the love of Mark Elliot. The only thing we really wonder is did Asian vixen Mia (Nancy Hsueh) get it on with both guys at the same time? “Korean fingercuffs, anyone?” Although Hsueh didn’t get naked in anything we know of, three members of the series’ extensive cast did. Blonde actress Bibi Besch, who is best remembered for playing James T. Kirk’s baby-mamma in Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan, showed us the breasts without bra in The Beast Within. Also, Knott’s Landing goddess Donna Mills gave us a brief sojourn of skin as she stalked D.J. Clint Eastwood in Play Misty for Me. Best of all, P.J. Soles, the sexy MP who was manhandled with a spatula by Bill Murray in Stripes, bared more than her soles in Halloween. In the John Carpenter horror classic, she reached out and touched someone with her nightshirt open to reveal her fulsome bolsas, until mask-wearing madman Michael Meyers (the non-Austin Powers one) strangled her with the phone cord. “Should have called 1-800 Collect, beotch!”
