Lola Versus (2012)

When Lola (Greta Gerwig) gets dumped right before her wedding, she has to rethink her whole life in Lola Versus (2012). Lola is a graduate student who is living the dream. She’s about to get her doctorate, marry her perfect fiancé Luke (Joel Kinnaman), and is somehow able to afford a magnificent Manhattan apartment. Then Luke gets cold feet three weeks before the wedding, and it throws Lola into a tragic state of ennui. But don’t worry; it’s the perfect chance for her to discover that her hipster doofus best friend, Henry (Hamish Linklater), has potential after all. Despite her previous willingness to appear nude, indie darling Greta Gerwig keeps her good parts covered in this film. You can still get a look at her sexy silhouette in bra and panties at the 27, 42, and 52-minute marks though. We just hate that Us vs. Skin mentality.
