Leo and Liz in Beverly Hills

Little is known about this little-known sitcom, a spin off of the 1985 George Burns Comedy Week program. Airing in 1986, it was comfortably forgotten by the time ’87 rolled around. We do know that it starred seasoned comedy veteran Harvey Korman as Leo Green and seventies sexpot Valerie Perrine as Liz Green. Valerie, who got her big break as a Bond girl in Diamonds are Forever, has shown us her pondersome peaks in Slaughterhouse Five, the controversial sci-fi classic penned by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. She went on to display more of her fulsome fun domes (including a bit of Sapphic experimentation) as Honey Bruce in Lenny, the biography of infamous 60’s stand-up comedian Lenny Bruce starring Dustin Hoffman in the title role. Leo and Liz in Beverly Hills also featured Deborah Harmon, who gave us a nip blip when she got into bed with Kurt Russell in the 1980 lowbrow comedy classic Used Cars. In addition, co-star Julie Payne gave us a brief skinterlude in Private School.
