Las Vegas Lady (1975)

Alternately titled Raid on Caesars, the low-budget caper comedy Las Vegas Lady (1975) offers a generous helping of brash ‘70s style. The plot follows a trio of brassy dames who conspire to empty the pockets of a Las Vegas casino owner who’s known for his slippery style of doing business. It’s not the most original storyline by any means, but director Noel Nosseck had the good sense to cast Playboy Playmate Stella Stevens as the brains (and bust) behind the heist. Stevens keeps the titillation factor high as she sashays through her scenes in one skimpy dress after another. Co-stars Lynne Moody, Linda Scruggs, and Ava Readdy pull their weight also, ensuring that the skin quotient remains high.
