Homeboy (1988)

Written by and starring Mickey Rourke, the boxing drama Homeboy (1988) tells the story of Johnny Walker, an aging boxer who spends his time hanging out with petty crook Wesley Pendergrass (Christopher Walken) and is too shy to confess his feelings for good girl Ruby (Debra Feuer). Homeboy is notable for its musical score and the fact that it features a nude scene with Gianna Rains, the star of Julia Roberts’s film debut, the raunchy sex comedy Firehouse (1987).
